The KRF-9000FD projector uses LCOS technology to create a full 1080p image up to 200 inches in size and sports a couple of HDMI inputs, and cinematic perfectionists will be overjoyed it supports advanced calibration. It’s going to be out later this month, but Pioneer is keeping schtum on the price.
As for LCD, we’re getting 32, 37 and 46-inch models dubbed the KRL-32V, KRL-37V and KRL-46V respectively. All are full 1080p, 100Hz compatible and have three HDMIs, plus an “aluminium look” finish. They’ll be out from August.
And then we’ve got some plasmas too, for “absolute picture quality”. Pioneer reckons the black levels here are five times better than last year’s range - something we’d love to see as those are still the best plasmas on the planet! 50 and 60-inch sizes are coming, all 1080p, from June. We’re saving up already.
Out from April | £TBC
